Who is COVISO?

From a very early age, I learned from my parents how businesses were run and how they were set up and expanded. I have been working full-time and commercially in the business world since 1994. During my career, I ensured that turnover grew by 20 to 25% per year. One of the ways I did this was by establishing new departments within the companies and making them successful. My career progressed smoothly and quickly.

In 1999, I decided to buy my first company. Within two to three years, the turnover doubled and not long afterwards, the biggest competitor was acquired and branches were opened in Belgium and in South Africa. A period I look back on with great pleasure and, above all, pride.

In 2012, a new company was created and within two years it had become a household name in the market. The company, which had a turnover of around 350,000 euros in 1999, eventually grew into a company with a turnover of over 6 million euros. The company was sold in 2019.

I have kept a small company that is very specialised in a certain sector which is currently undergoing expansion together with my team. In the first year, turnover already increased by more than 50% (now nearly 90%). All this during the Corona crisis. We are going from 1.8 million euros turnover to 2,700,000 euros turnover and in 2021 we will even go to 3,500,000 euros turnover. In 2022, we expect to grow to 4,000,000 euros. I am not directly involved in the daily management, but I am active in the background. Nevertheless, I am and will remain actively involved in my organisation.

With some regularity, I have assisted various companies in different branches with tips and advice. I have helped various entrepreneurs launch new businesses and activities. Through years of experience as an entrepreneur, I understand like no other all that can be drawn from challenges and problems both in business and in private life. Precisely because of this experience, I can help deal with very difficult issues in various situations.

I have had to steer my companies through various crisis years. I also went through very difficult periods with my companies, during which (financial) solutions had to be found in order to continue to grow during these periods. During that time, I had extensive contact with various investors and banks. As a result, I have gained a lot of practical experience and I know where the pitfalls are and what you should or should not do in a particular situation.
